Beauty Tips with Dr. Burkenstock: eat super foods to help your skin

There are some super foods that will give your skin nourishment, hydration, glow and just a wonderful, natural youthful look.

One of those foods is avocados. They are full of healthy oils. So when you eat them, you hydrate your skin from within.

Another food that is just wonderful for you are foods rich in lycopene, which would be tomatoes and watermelon. The lycopene found in tomatoes and watermelon is actually anti-aging. They decrease the sunburn potential from those sun rays. In addition to that, they are an anti-oxidant, so they also anti age the skin by decreasing the photo damage.

One of my favorite foods it salmon It has Astaxanthin. It increases the skin’s elasticity which naturally decreases lines.
