NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)– It’s America’s 240th Birthday today, and New Orleans always knows how to celebrate with the appropriate gear!
News With a Twist reporter, Meghan Kluth, went to the city’s riverfront to check out how patrons dressed for the occasion. To no surprise hundreds of people were decked out in the star spangled banner to celebrate Independence Day.
The easy go-to is to wear something red, white or blue, but some people got creative with eagles, patriotic headbands, socks, and scarves to show America just how much we love her.
Finding the right gear is simple, head to your local convenience or department store.
