HOLDEN, La. (WGNO) – Dukes of Hazzard is a TV classic. So are the stars of the show. It’s been three decades since the show was a primetime hit, but actors John Schneider and Tom Wopat will always be Bo and Luke Duke.

Not only are they actors, the boys know how to sing. That’s why the two Dukes recorded a Christmas album.

Their album is called Home for Christmas.  It’s an 18-track medley of holiday classics. You can hear them sing “Silver Bells”, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and a twist on “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”

The Duke Boys, well, Tom sings to John, “Johnny, It’s Cold Outside”!

And what’s new this Christmas, the album is being released on vinyl. Dust off those turntables or add one to your list for Santa.

WGNO News with a Twist features guy Wild Bill Wood traveled to the town of Holden, LA to chat with John Schneider and Tom Wopat. The Louisiana location is where John has John Schneider Studios, his TV and movie studio location.

It’s also the location for two holiday concerts from the Dukes of Hazzard duo. It’s called Home for Hazzard Christmas.

The shows are Saturday, December 5.  Gates open at 3 p.m. for the 4 p.m. concert. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. for the second concert at 8:30 p.m.  If you want to go, just click here.
