NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Cinemax will be launching a new TV show in 2016 called Quarry. The story is based in Memphis, Tennessee but is filming on Louisiana soil to get the look they need. Louisiana has more resources than other states and that’s another big reason why they landed the production in Hollywood South.

One of the producers of Quarry, Joseph Incaprera says, “there’s nothing like it on TV.”

The new Cinemax drama is about a Marine named Mac Conway (aka Quarry) portrayed by Logan Marshall-Green who came home from Vietnam in the 70’s and his struggle with his return to society.
