NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Good Morning America Anchor, Robin Roberts has strong ties to the Gulf Coast.  She’s from Pass Christian, Mississippi.

When Hurricane Katrina struck, 10 years ago, she covered the devastation of her hometown and the surrounding areas like New Orleans.

Robin came to town to mark the upcoming Hurricane Katrina 10 year commemoration.

News with a Twist Reporter, Kenny Lopez, who is also a former Good Morning America intern, sat down to talk with her about how far we’ve come since the storm, and how Katrina changed her.
