‘We heard you.’ Fence removed in Bayou St. John after social media outrage

Fencing put up Tuesday along Bayou St. John was removed less than 24-hours later. 

A fence went up along Moss Street in Mid-City Tuesday ahead of this weekend’s 11th annual Bayou Boogaloo Music Festival.

State Police are seeking a person of interest in the fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a skateboarder in Hammond.

The Lamborghini involved in a fatal crash on Tchoupitoulas was leased by the Uptown plastic surgeon facing rape and voyeurism charges, according to the lawyer representing the family of the fatal crash victim.
