NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)- Fans were disappointed when the rain caused Stevie Wonder not to be able to perform on Saturday evening at Jazz Fest. Although the rain kept him from playing his hits at Jazz Fest, it didn’t keep him from going to the French Quarter to perform.
Fans tell WGNO News that last night Stevie Wonder took the stage at Irvin Mayfield’s Playhouse in the Royal Sonesta Hotel. After that fans met him at the Windsor Court Hotel, where viewer and FestiGals Founder, Diane Lyons was lucky enough to take this picture with the legendary singer. Lyons said he was very nice and it was a dream come true to meet him.
