NEW ORLEANS — For St. Patrick’s day, hundreds showed up in the Irish Channel for the Tracey’ss Original Irish Channel Bar block party. There were food, drinks, and face paintings.
In 1949, the original Irish settlers opened their doors at Tracey’s to the community for St. Patrick`s Day. ever since then, the New Orleans area has drawn to the Irish Channel for this annual event.
