NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Happy Birthday Emeril!
Saturday October 15 is the birthday for the most famous chef in America.
Here he is feeding a bite of his birthday cake to WGNO News with a Twist features guy Wild Bill Wood.
Actually the cake is a slice of Emeril’s red velvet chocolate cake from his new restaurant. Emeril uses beets to make the cake red.
The newest eating spot in his collection is called Meril. It’s named for Emeril’s daughter. Her name is Meril.
That’s Emeril’s name without the “E” at the beginning.
Wild Bill got a chance to connect with Meril and Emeril’s son EJ at another of Emeril’s restaurants.
