You Night: A fashion show where cancer survivors fashionably fight!

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The stage is being set for a one-of-a-kind fashion show.  All the models are cancer survivors. News with a Twist Reporter Kenny Lopez explains, “You Night” — an empowerment event where women get to strut their strength and courage with their family, friends, doctors, and nurses all cheering them on.

All of these women are warriors. They are all cancer survivors, and they feel stronger for beating cancer.

You Night Empowering Events is a six-month empowerment program that helps cancer survivors embrace life beyond cancer. These lovely ladies are part of the “Fight Club”, which is this year’s theme for the runway fashion show. On Thursday (March 17), they will be strutting their strength, proving they can and will fight!

“Life makes me feel strong! The fact that I have a second chance at life makes me feel strong,” cancer survivor, Emily Barre said.
