NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Happy Monday! Another Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. this morning. We have both humidity and little wind, so clouds and fog will be stubborn to clear out Monday. Some of that fog could be dense at times, just be careful driving.
Overnight, temperatures have remained in the 60s or 70s. Temperatures will be back in the low to mid 70s with areas on the warmer side that see the sun earliest once again much of this week.
Higher rain chances stick around Monday and Tuesday for a soggy start, though. A Marginal Risk for severe weather exists on both sides of the lake. Some rain Tuesday could be locally heavy, and we’ll be watching for a straight-line wind concern. Flooding will be the primary threat, have those alerts enabled! Enjoy your quiet start before activity ramps up this afternoon!
