Kay’s on Magazine Street caters to the fashion-forward woman, and the store’s owner describes her go-to style as “witchy.”
But she doesn’t mean the kind of witch with a wart on her nose: she means the kind of woman who is charming, mean, edgy and wears a lot of black. In a nutshell, she describes “witchie” as Kylie Jenner, the trendy 18-year-old who is known for her long dark hair, matte lips and skin-tight clothing.
” I would definitely say we’re going to see some sort of like 70s style, maybe some like really awesome flared legs something like that, chokers for sure. Chokers are really popular. Crop tops, a lot of bra-lettes,” said Kay Charbonnete, owner of Kay’s. “So you wear like a large kind of blousey top, and it has a large arm hole and you have a cute bra-lette underneath, some little peek-a-boo. You’re gonna see a lot of maxis because it’s really hot here and you’re definitely gonna want to be cool.”
