NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Hansen’s opened their doors to the public Tuesday for the 2016 spring and summer season.

As always, people were lined outside to get their hands on a snoball they’ve been waiting months for!

The newest flavor this year is Cucumber.

“Slightly sweet but very refreshing,” owner Ashley Hansen said. More new flavors are expected to come out soon.

Hansen’s was founded by Ernest and Mary Hensen in 1939. They’re known for making soft fluffy snoballs.
