BOGALUSA, La. (WGNO) — Two additional teens have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that happened in Bogalusa on Saturday, April 13.
The Bogalusa Police Department reported officers responded to a call of a shooting on Union Avenue, where they found that a 16-year-old had been fatally shot.
On Saturday, a 15-year-old was arrested in connection with the investigation.
On Monday, April 15, the BPD announced that two more teens, a 14-year-old and another 15-year-old, have been arrested.
BPD officials said an investigation shows the teens and the victim were shooting at and inside an occupied home when the victim suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
According to the BPD, there was no opposing gunfire.
BPD detectives said they recovered three guns “suspected of being utilized in the shooting” after executing search warrants.
The three teens face charges of first-degree murder, four counts of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property, illegal possession of handgun by a juvenile and failure to seek assistance.
