Archbishop walks the “Way of the Cross” with Orleans Parish prisoners

New Orleans (WGNO)–Archbishop Gregory Aymond led a “Way of the Cross” at the Orleans Parish prison.

They stopped at the 14 different stations for prayer and reflection.

Good Friday is the beginning of the holiest weekend for Christians marking the death of Christ and His resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Sheriff Marlin Gusman says he asked the Archbishop to come to the prison to meet the spiritual needs of prisoners.
