METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — Investigators with the FBI New Orleans Field Office are looking to locate and identify a suspect in a 2023 Metairie bank robbery. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.

On Aug. 4, 2023, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a robbery at a Bank Plus in the 400 block of Metairie Road.

FBI officials reported an armed man walked into the bank, held two employees at gunpoint and told them to open the safe.

The suspect then took an undisclosed amount of money and left in a silver Ford Edge. But security camera footage shows the car had no license plate.

According to the FBI, the suspect “was clothed in a bluish-grey long-sleeved shirt, dark-colored pants, black gloves, a black baseball cap, dark-colored neck gator, and sunglasses.”

Anyone with information about the robbery can call FBI New Orleans at 504-816-3000 or Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111. The FBI says Crimestoppers is offering a $2,500 reward.

So far, more than 460 people have been booked after their cases rolled on the Wheel of Justice.
