UPDATE: JPSO deputies say they’ve arrested a suspect named Elijah Favorite in this case.
MARRERO, LA (WGNO) — Jefferson Parish deputies released a photo of a man who they say is responsible for an armed robbery at a Game Stop store in Marrero.
According to deputies, the robbery happened around 4:00 in the afternoon on June 30. They say the man walked into the Game Stop in the 1700 block of Promenade Blvd and demanded gaming consoles.
Deputies say the clerk handed over two consoles and the man left. Nobody got hurt.
But according to a news release which included a photo of the suspect, the robber also walked into the business next door to the Game Stop just prior to the robbery, and the security camera at that store got a pretty clear shot of him.
