NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On Tuesday afternoon, officials with NOPD, Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans announced a new effort to bring justice to a family who lost three brothers within the same week.

A billboard campaign was unveiled, seeking information related to the deaths of Brandon, Bradley, and Bryan Veal who were gunned down earlier this year in two separate incidents.

On February 13, the family of 26-year-old Bryan Veal was planning his funeral after he was murdered at the corner of Loyola and Washington Avenues.

Only a week later, 21-year-old Bradley and 30-year-old Brandon Veal were ambushed on Carondelet while walking to get food. At least 30 to 40 shots were fired.

“We want closure. We want closure for this,” a close family member told WGNO days after a private funeral service.

On March 9, Crimestoppers GNO announced an award of $10,000 for information leading to arrests of those responsible for the brothers’ deaths. However, police are still searching for the critical piece of information that will tip the scales.

This latest campaign is an effort between Crimestoppers, NOPD, and homicide investigators.

NOPD Chief Shaun Ferguson commented on the billboard campaign, saying:

“We are here today collectively in an effort to show support for the Veal family as well as the citizens of New Orleans and we are asking as I do on a weekly basis — if you see something, say something.

We will not give up and we will not stop.”
