NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — One man has been declared dead following a fatal shooting in the Little Woods neighborhood of New Orleans on Wednesday, June 12.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, the shooting was initially reported at 8:04 a.m. and later confirmed 8:42 a.m. in the 10800 block of Kinneil Road.
When police arrived on the scene, a single man was found inside a residence with a gunshot wound. Emergency services then brought him to a nearby hospital, where his wound proved to be fatal, and he was declared deceased.
The Orleans Parish coroner identified the victim as 45-year-old Warren Richard on Monday, June 17.
