NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating after a man was stabbed on Sunday, May 26.
According to the NOPD, the victim was sleeping outside of a convenience store in the 700 block of Common Street when he was “brutally attacked.”
The NOPD reported the suspect kicked the man in the face unprovoked and then repeatedly stabbed him while standing over his body.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment but an update on his condition was not released.
