NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)— On Thursday evening, the New Orleans Police Department began investigating a shooting in Holly Grove shortly after 5 p.m.
According to NOPD, the shooting happened in the 2600 block of Monroe Street.
When police arrived at the location they found a 57-year-old woman with an undetermined number of gunshot wounds.
The woman was taken to a hospital by EMS.
