NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man is dead following a shooting in the Little Woods neighborhood on Wednesday, May 24.
Officials with the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) said officers received a report of shots fired in the 7000 block of Martin Drive around 6:50 p.m.
At the scene, officers found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital where he later died.
