NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The suspect in a May Fairgrounds home burglary case is being sought by the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD).

On the morning of May 2, just after 7:40 a.m. NOPD officials say a home in the 2800 block of O’Reilly Street was burglarized. Home surveillance cameras captured the alleged suspect.

Police say the man got in through an unlocked door in the back of the house and reportedly stole a wallet before leaving the area. The suspect is described as having short black hair and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black undershirt and khaki pants.
