On March 12, the New Orleans Coroner identified the victim in this shooting as 34-yea-old Sarah Blalock. Preliminary cause of death is a gunshot wound.
NEW ORLEANS — The NOPD is investigating a homicide in the 3200 block of 2nd Street.
At around 12:38 p.m., Sixth District officers were investigating an unclassified death of an adult female at the location.
During the course of the investigation, officers discovered that the victim suffered from an apparent gunshot wound.
