KENNER, La. (WGNO) – Raising Cane’s in Kenner reopened today, more than a week after the fast-food restaurant was robbed and 21-year-old manager Taylor Friloux was stabbed to death.

Four people, including two former Cane’s employees, were arrested in connection with the robbery and murder.

Joshua Every, 23, a former Cane’s employee, Mark Crocklen Jr., and Gregory Donald have been booked for first-degree murder and other charges. Ariana Runner was booked for second-degree murder and robbery charges.

Police said the robbers split $1,000 that they took during the robbery. Friloux and two other employees were ambushed while taking out the trash.

Every stabbed her in the chest before going into the restaurant and stealing from the safe. He stabbed her several more times before fleeing in a vehicle.

“As we work to move forward, we are appreciative of the outpouring of support from the community,” Cane’s spokeswoman Julie Perrault said. “We are grateful for the efforts of the Kenner Police Department and all law enforcement involved. Now that all suspects are in custody, we are focused on the well-being of our crew and we will continue to work with Taylor’s family to honor her memory.”
