UPDATE: Tavares Helm is now in custody, according to the DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office.
DESOTO PARISH, La. (LTAL/KMSS) – A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a DeSoto Parish man.
An arrest warrant has been issued for 41-year-old Tavares Helm on charges of second-degree kidnapping, battery of a dating partner and aggravated battery.
Investigators believe Helm, who is considered armed and dangerous, is in the Mansfield area.
