NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man was hospitalized following a shooting inside a French Quarter bar on Sunday, June 4.

According to officials with the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), the shooting happened in the 300 block of Bourbon Street around 2:00 a.m.

Upon arrival, NOPD officials said officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach. The victim’s condition was not released.

The NOPD is working to find a possible suspect and motive. The incident remains under investigation.
