NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)— The New Orleans Police Department began investigating a shooting that happened around 4 a.m. Thursday morning.
According to police, the incident reportedly occurred in the 1700 block of Franklin Avenue.
Initial reports show a man suffered from a gunshot wound injury to the abdomen.
The victim arrived at a local hospital on his own.
