Suspect Wanted for Second Degree Battery on First Street

NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD issued an arrest warrant for 19-year-old Dwight Price in connection to second degree battery in the 3000 block of First Street.

The incident happened Sunday around 3 p.m.

According to the victim, Price approached him as he was walking toward his home in the area and demanded that he pay him back for money the victim had borrowed from him last week.

The victim told police Price then ran up to him and struck him in the back of the head with a pipe.

Price then left the scene and ran down South Derbigny Street.
