THIBODAUX, La. (WGNO) – A Thibodaux man was arrested over the weekend for allegedly going on a rampage at the fast food restaurant where he worked and punching four people.

Thibodaux Police said officers were called about 11:30 a.m. Saturday to a fast food restaurant in the 800 block of North Canal Boulevard, where James Woolens, 29, had allegedly become angry “for no apparent reason” and struck an unsuspecting woman from behind.

He then approached three fellow employees and reportedly punched them, too. All of the victims refused medical attention.

Woolens was booked into the Lafourche Parish Jail on four counts of simple battery and six counts of disturbing the peace. He was released Sunday on a $9,000 bond.
