AVONDALE, La. (WGNO) — The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating after two men were found inside of an Avondale shot to death.
According to deputies, at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, they responded to a report of two men found unresponsive and dead inside a home in the 200 block of Coretta Drive.
Deputies said that upon arrival, they found two men each suffering from gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Jefferson Parish Coroner’s Office identified the two men as 34-year-old Brandon Washington and 49-year-old Marcus Magee, both of Westwego.
JPSO deputies are in the process of gathering evidence and information to determine a possible suspect and motive.
