NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Four people were shot and two were killed in separate incidents around the city.

The first shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Dreux Avenue and St. Roch. That’s where police say they found a man who had been shot several times.

He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Shortly after that shooting, officers were called to another incident in the Uptown area. A man was found lying near the intersection of Constance and Lyons streets. He had been shot several times as well and died at the hospital.

Around 2 a.m. , officers were called out to a double shooting near the intersection of Louisa Street and Almonaster Boulevard.

In that case, investigators say a woman was shot in the leg and a man was shot in the face.

They were both take to the hospital in unknown condition.
