NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting in the 5900 block of Read Boulevard.
Initial reports showed a female victim with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, however an updated report from the NOPD claims the victim was an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds.
That victim has been declared deceased at a local hospital.
No additional details are currently available.
Investigation is ongoing.
