METAIRIE – Central Avenue between Heaslip Avenue and Karen Avenue will be closed Tuesday through Thursday for emergency railroad track repairs.

All lanes of Central Avenue will close in both directions from 9 a.m. Tuesday through 5 p.m. Thursday.

Central Avenue will be open to local traffic only and all through traffic should use Clearview Parkway as an alternate.

CN Railroad crews need to make emergency repairs to the railroad tracks.
