Baton Rouge, LA (WGNO) – Celtic Studio is Louisiana’s largest design-built studio and is located in Baton Rouge, which was voted one of the “Best Places to Live and Work as a Moviemaker 2015.”
Major film productions like Universal’s Oblivion starring Tom Cruise, Summit Entertainment’s The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn 1 & 2, Twentieth Century Fox’s latest release Fantastic Four, and Columbia Pictures’ Battle: Los Angeles, just to name a few, were shot at Celtic.
The studio has nearly 150,000 square feet of stage space, more than 100,000 square feet of gated office space, and an additional 50,000 square feet of covered support space–40 acres in all.
Inside lies an office space with production companies, Enterprise Car rental, entertainment lawyers, Scene Magazine and more! There’s also a space where people can get fresh food that’s delivered right to them.
One of the big productions that recently wrapped in two of their stages is WGN America’s new original show Underground, which is about the underground railroad. That’s set to release spring of next year.
