NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) –– In a news conference Tuesday, French Quarter Festivals Inc. announced the final lineup for the 2024 French Quarter Festival.

This year’s festival features more than 70 music acts and 16 new culinary experiences. The organizers added two new stages and expanded the After Dark program.

The 2024 festival will feature 21 music stages, including a DJ and culinary stages. The festival is said to cater to a wide range of tastes with a lineup including artists like Ivan Neville & Friends, Big Freedia, and the Soul Rebels.

The festival offers over 60 food options, with new vendors like Afrodisiac NOLA, Nori Guys, and Fatty’s Cracklin’s joining in. They will be serving various dishes that reflect the diverse gastronomy of New Orleans. The Culinary Stage will host interactive cooking demonstrations and interviews with local chefs, led by Chef Kevin Belton.

FQFI After Dark provides evening performances at various locations throughout the city, continuing festival activities into the night.

The Chevron Children’s STEM Zone is where families can have fun and learn about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). It will have educational and entertaining activities for young festival-goers.

The festival is free for everyone who wants to attend. However, if you want extra perks like being closer to the stage, having access to exclusive lounges, and getting free drinks, you can buy a VIP Pass.
