Trombone Shorty

Local musician Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews landed a gig in “The Peanuts Movie.”

The New Orleans music star won’t be using his own voice in the snoopy flick, but he’ll be using his trombone.

Just like in the old Charlie Brown cartoons you could never understand what the adults were saying because the trombone sound effect took the voices place.

For the 2015 new version of the peanut animation, Andrews will be using his own trombone to mimic the adult voices in the film.

As for Troy, take a wild guess what Trombone Shorty’s favorite Charlie Brown character is?  Snoopy!!!

The “Peanuts Movie” hits theaters November 6, 2015.
