NEW ORLEANS– First Grace United Methodist Church is showing its support for George Floyd and Norman Francis.
The church on Canal Street and Jefferson Davis Parkway is backing a petition to rename Jefferson Davis Parkway after Norman Francis, who’s the former President of Xavier University.
Their sign outside the church currently reads, “George Floyd and Norman Francis matter.” In recent weeks they had Norman Francis Parkway posted on their church sign.
