NEW ORLEANS – The Louisiana Department of Health is reporting 3,939 new cases of COVID-19 and 36 new deaths in Louisiana. Since there is no Saturday update, this is the rise over the past two days.
The number of hospitalizations increased by 35 for a total of 1,392 COVID patients in Louisiana. 162 of those patients are on ventilators.
