NEW ORLEANS – The Louisiana Department of Health is reporting 1,016 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 252,136.
An additional 23 deaths brings Louisiana’s death toll up to 6,607.
Currently, 1,423 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, and 161 of those patients are on ventilators.
