Honor flights set to soar to honor COVID-19 first responders

NEW ORLEANS – A series of honor flights are set for the skies over New Orleans and on the North Shore.

The Commemorative Air Force’s Big Easy Wing will conduct the flights in WWII era planes. The flights will honor frontline responders and our nation’s independence.

The first flight is scheduled for noon today over New Orleans. Then two flights are scheduled for noon tomorrow, one over New Orleans and one over the North Shore.
