NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — State and local leaders are considering tighter COVID restrictions as the virus spreads.
New Orleans leaders say all options are on the table, but did not give specifics on what restrictions might be implemented again. The state is also considering aggressive mitigation measures if the surge does not peak soon.
New Orleans is continuing to look at data and consult with health experts and an announcement on added restrictions could come later this week.
