BATON ROUGE – Governor John Bel Edwards is giving an update on the state’s transition toward a full reopening amid the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
On Thursday, Edwards announced that the state would move into Phase 3 on Friday, as the extended Phase 2 deadline expired.
Edwards is expected to give more details on what restrictions will be modified under Phase 3.
