METAIRIE, La (WGNO) – All Saints’ Day is the day to show up at school, stand up and introduce yourself as your favorite saint.
WGNO News with a Twist features guy Wild Bill Wood finds out who’s honoring whom at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church School in Metairie, Louisiana.
The school has a 30 year tradition for learning about the saints by dressing like them on November 1.
When these “saints go marching in” to morning mass, they sing, they celebrate and they learn.
All Saints’ Day is all about the bond between those in Heaven and the rest of us down here on Earth hoping to join them up there some day.
