Andy is a 4-year-old, long-haired dachshund that was found as a stray and never redeemed from the Jefferson SPCA. He caught the hearts of volunteers and was deemed the “nicest dachshund to enter the shelter.” He was heartworm positive when entering the shelter and has spent 7 months in a foster home undergoing treatment. Andy is house trained, kennel trained and good with kids. He has lived with large dogs, small dogs, a cat and a rabbit in his foster home has done well with everyone. He is very loving and loves to cuddle as well. Email his foster mom on more information about adopting him at brittaney.blaauw@gmail.com.
