NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The Audubon Aquarium of the Americas picked the name for their new white alligator. They landed on Chompitoulas.
The Aquarium hosted a naming contest for the creature, and thousands of aquarium fans voted. An Aquarium staffer says Chompitoulas was the overwhelming favorite.
