NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – A judge has set bond for 27-year-old Samuel Ash, the man accused of shooting three teens at a bus stop, Monday afternoon.
Ash had his first appearance before an Orleans Parish Magistrate judge Tuesday morning where his bond was set at $865,000.
Ash is accused of shooting three Cohen High School students as they stood at a bus stop near the intersection of South Broad Street and Washington Ave. around 4:30 p.m. Monday.
Ash was arrested after as short car chase with an NOPD patrol unit that ended with him crashing his SUV near the corner of S. Miro St. and Tulane Ave.
On Tuesday, one victim, a 16-year-old boy is listed in critical condition.
The other two victims, a 14-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy are both listed in stable condition.
