UPDATE: Some workers were evacuated, but no one was injured at the Valero refinery in Meraux, and the explosion turned out to be a small fire.
ST. BERNARD PARISH (WGNO) – An explosion has been reported at the Valero refinery in Meraux.
Traffic has been shut down along sections of St. Bernard Highway.
