NEW ORLEANS – This morning, crews worked to stabilize a crane at the site of the Hard Rock Hotel collapse by tying it to the building.
Fire Superintendent Tim McConnel says once this is complete it will be safe for foot traffic in the area, allowing businesses to reopen.
Most of the streets, however, will remain closed.
