NEW ORLEANS – Demolition work begins today at the site of the Hard Rock Hotel collapse.
Last week New Orleans city leaders issued an emergency order forcing the Hard Rock Hotel developers to tear down three adjacent buildings so that a demolition crew can start tearing down the hotel itself.
Two of the buildings are on Canal Street while the third is on Iberville.
